Finance Manager

The Finance Manager position is intended to be career-oriented with significant opportunity for advancement in both responsibility and compensation. While prior managerial-level experience is preferred, it is not considered a prerequisite; however; motivation to assume active managerial responsibility and authority is required. Duties
  • Provides professional review and monitoring of the company’s business processes, administration, financial management and administration
  • Under guidance of the CFO, maintains responsibility for the company’s bookkeeping and accounting system
  • Reviews and processes payments
  • Assists CFO in planning and forecasting activities to support CFO and other senior managers in achieving company goals
  • Analyzes company’s sources of revenue, profit & loss, balance sheets , expenses and cash flows
  • Prepares and provides preliminary analysis of financial reports and forecasts for review by CFO
  • Monitors financial details to ensure legal compliance
  • Maintains accurate record keeping system for all finance-related information
  • Implements changes to procedures, policies, and systems that facilitate expansion, compliance, and scaling of the business

Foreign Trade Zone/Logistics Coordinator

The Foreign Trade Zone/Logistics Coordinator is responsible for timely review and processing of documents for the arrival and removal of goods from an FTZ, operating within government rules and regulations. He/she interfaces with sales team, customers, freight forwarders, customs officers, and other functional areas to ensure proper customs admission and entry for goods into and out of a foreign trade zone, as well as coordinating other logistics for daily shipments to and from company facilities.

Duties
  • Follow the guidelines for compliance to the CBP regulations 19 CFR 146, CBP’s FTZ operating manual, and the Foreign-Trade Zones Board Regulations
  • Input data to create and submit appropriate customs declarations related to inbonds, permits to transfer, admissions and entries
  • Create and maintain files in accordance with document retention policies
  • Validate commercial documentation against shipment receipts to determine shortages or overages and resolve with CBP
  • Manage daily inventory reconciliation processes and analyze, research, and resolve all discrepancies
  • Prepare reports for all shortage/overage reporting to CBP within regulatory guidelines
  • Concur admissions within FTZ software
  • Prepare and submit 3461, 7501, 214, 7512 and 216
  • Set up SCAC Code for the company in preparation for self-filing with immediate transport bonds (7512)
  • Maintain all inventory control and record keeping systems, logs and files
  • Utilize company and third-party software to facilitate the clearance and movement of cargo
  • Facilitate the release of cargo from or the movement of cargo in and out of the FTZ
  • Onboard and develop processes for self-filing for in-bond movements (7512) with Customs
  • Process invoices for FTZ-related services
