Lithium-7 as Hydroxide Monohydrate (7LiOH•H2O) is used as an alkalizing water chemistry additive to the primary coolant circuit of PWR reactors for the primary purpose of adjusting and maintaining proper pH levels. 7LiOH•H2O is introduced into the reactor coolant system via the charging flow.
